New Case Study - Riverside Museum, Glasgow, Scotland
We are delighted to be favoured supplier on the prestigious Riverside Museum project in Glasgow, Scotland. The home town of Evolution Fasteners (UK) Ltd.
The Museum is a new £74.0m development on the banks of the River Clyde with the building itself featuring a world first in terms of ceiling profile design. The River Clyde is indeed the inspiration for the unique ceiling profile which represents the flow of the River Clyde.
Evolution have been working closely with the contractors to provide technical consultancy on the advanced fixings solutions required for use in such a complex ceiling profile design.
We have been able to supply Evolution products to address technical challenges that the originally specified manufacturer's parts simply could not cope with. Particularly the use of our <SuperTek 8> to self-drill and self-tap hanging joists to extra heavy primary structural steel sections.
